Factsheet

Description

Manufactoria 2022 is a new open-ended puzzle game, a bit like SpaceChem or Human Resource Machine. Build assembly lines that push robots around and rewrite their strangely paper-based brains. Figure out which robots will work, and send the rest straight into the slagheap!

Solve: Across more than a hundred puzzles, use a deceptively simple set of tools to validate ever more complex robot designs.

Improve: Try to build faster, more compact, and more elegant solutions. Hit gold medal scores, beat your friends, and then compete with the whole world.

Advance: Go from a garage robotics startup to a booming megabusiness. Work with a colorful cast of characters to inflict your creations on an unsuspecting world.

PleasingFungusGames

PleasingFungus Games, a.k.a. Nicholas Feinberg, has been making gently offbeat indie games since 2010. His last commercial release was Silicon Zeroes, and his most popular game before that was the original Manufactoria. He lives in California with his wife, baby son, and small dog.

For Manufactoria 2022, Thomas Hoey created the sound and music, Callum Clayton did the 2D art, and Yaroslav Adamov did the 3D art. Zach Barth also allowed use of his leaderboard servers. The rest was Nicholas.
